VoiceAI – Privacy Policy & End User License Agreement (EULA)

Effective Date: 10 November, 2025

This Privacy Policy and End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your use of VoiceAI, including text-to-speech, audiobook generation, image-to-text (OCR), handwriting recognition, AI answers, translation, image-to-speech, and all other features (“Services”).
By downloading or using VoiceAI, you agree to this Agreement.


1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

  • Text entered into the app

  • Images uploaded for OCR or text extraction

  • Audio you generate using the app

  • Customer support communications

  • Optional user account information (if implemented)

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

  • Device type, operating system, app version

  • Usage statistics

  • Crash logs & diagnostics

  • Non-identifiable analytics

1.3 Sensitive Content Handling

VoiceAI processes text and images to provide features like TTS, translations, OCR, and AI answers.
We do not permanently store this content.
We do not sell or share it with advertisers.

1.4 Children’s Privacy

VoiceAI is not intended for children under 13, or the age of digital consent in your region.


2. How We Use Your Information

We process your data to:

  • Provide audio generation

  • Generate AI answers

  • Perform OCR and translations

  • Improve voice quality or model accuracy

  • Offer customer support

  • Prevent abuse, fraud, or misuse

We do not sell your data.
We do not track you across apps or websites.


3. Data Retention Policy

3.1 Temporary Data

The following are deleted immediately after processing unless you save them on your device:

  • Text submitted for conversion

  • Images uploaded for OCR

  • AI queries

  • Generated audio (stored only locally unless manually exported)

3.2 Metadata

Basic analytics (crash logs, performance data) may be retained for up to 24 months, anonymized, for app improvement.

3.3 Account Information

If your app includes an account system:

  • User profiles are retained until you delete your account

  • You may request full deletion at any time

3.4 User-Controlled Storage

All files saved to your device (like offline audiobooks) remain under your full control.
Deleting the app removes all such local data.


4. AI Transparency Notice

VoiceAI uses artificial intelligence to generate:

  • Audiobooks

  • Speech from text

  • Image-to-text results

  • Translations

  • AI-generated answers

AI-generated results may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading.
Users must verify all important information before relying on it.

VoiceAI does not guarantee:

  • Correct answers

  • Accurate translations

  • Reliable interpretation of images

  • Legality or appropriateness of generated content

You accept full responsibility for how you use AI-generated output.


5. User Responsibilities & Acceptable Use

You agree not to use VoiceAI to:

  • Violate any local, national, or international laws

  • Generate harmful, abusive, illegal, defamatory, or misleading content

  • Create deepfakes, impersonations, or fraudulent material

  • Infringe copyright or intellectual property

  • Upload sensitive data that you are not authorized to process

  • Reverse engineer or tamper with the app

Misuse of the app may result in account suspension or legal action.


6. CCPA Compliance (California)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

Your Rights

California users have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect

  • Request deletion of personal information

  • Request correction

  • Opt out of data selling (we do not sell data)

  • Not be discriminated against for exercising rights

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • VoiceAI is provided “as is” and “as available”

  • We make no guarantees regarding accuracy, reliability, or availability

  • We are not liable for damages, losses, or misuse

  • You assume full responsibility for the use of all generated content

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to discontinue using the app.


10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developers against any claims resulting from:

  • Your misuse of the app

  • Your content

  • Your violation of laws or third-party rights

  • Any AI-generated output used or distributed by you


11. Subscription, Payment & Refunds

VoiceAI uses third-party payment processors to handle payments securely.
We do not process or store your payment information directly.

11.1 Payment Methods

We currently accept:

  • Flutterwave

  • Cryptocurrency payments (e.g., USDT, BTC, ETH, etc.)

  • Direct bank transfers

  • Other third-party gateways as added in the future

All payment information is handled exclusively by these payment providers under their own security and privacy policies.

11.2 Billing & Subscription Terms

  • Pricing, billing cycles, and renewal terms will be clearly displayed before you complete a purchase.

  • Some payments (bank transfers, crypto) may require manual confirmation before activation.

  • Access to paid features begins once the transaction is confirmed by the processor.

11.3 Refund Policy

Because payments are processed through third-party gateways:

  • Refund eligibility depends on the policies of the payment processor used (e.g., Flutterwave’s policies, blockchain irreversibility for crypto, or bank transfer policies).

  • Crypto payments are generally non-refundable due to the irreversible nature of blockchain transactions.

  • Refunds for bank transfers or Flutterwave payments may be available on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.

We will investigate claims but cannot guarantee refunds for payments made through third-party or immutable payment systems.

11.4 Fraud Prevention

We reserve the right to decline or reverse access to paid features if a payment is disputed, fraudulent, or unverified.


12. App Store & Google Play Policy-Ready Section

This section satisfies App Store Review Guidelines & Google Developer Policy requirements.

VoiceAI:

  • Does not collect data for advertising

  • Does not track users across other apps

  • Uses data only to provide app functionality

  • Does not permanently store user text or images

  • Allows full data deletion by uninstalling the app

  • Provides transparency for AI-generated content

  • Includes clear disclosures about OCR, translation, and voice synthesis

  • Complies with “Safety”, “User Data”, “AI Safety”, and “Sensitive Content” policies


13. Termination

We may terminate your access if:

  • You violate this Agreement

  • You misuse AI features

  • Required for legal or safety reasons

You may terminate use at any time by uninstalling the app.


14. Changes to This Agreement

We may update this policy from time to time.
Continued use of the app means you accept the updated terms.
